Difference between Worm Gear and Helical Gear Speed Reducers
Speed reducer is a useful tool that is used to amplify the
machine and motor gear pair and control the output speed. The range of types of

Worm Gear Reducer:-
The worm gear reducer consists of a screw (called a worm)
that interlocks with a much larger gear. The gear rotates when the worm is

gear only works in one direction, the worm can rotate the gear, but the
gear cannot turn to rotate the worm, this option provides a natural locking
