Difference between Worm Gear and Helical Gear Speed Reducers

  Speed reducer is a useful tool that is used to amplify the machine and motor gear pair and control the output speed. Worm Gear Reducer:- The worm gear reducer consists of a screw (called a worm) that interlocks with a much larger gear. The gear rotates when the worm is tightened. This allows the driver to determine the speed at which the gear rotates. Since the worm gear only works in one direction, the worm can rotate the gear, but the gear cannot turn to rotate the worm, this option provides a natural locking mechanism when it stops working.
